Imassouane Program Walking Essaouira - Imassouane

7 day and 6 nights

Day 1: Marrakech: After arrival at the airport of Marrakech, we meet you there and drive you to your hotel. Briefing by the person, in charge for the excursion. You eat and spend the night in the hotel or apartment.

Day 2: Marrakech/Essaouira/Sidi Kaouki: In the early the morning, there is departure for Essaouira. We take a brief tour in the city and have fish for lunch. Then we drive to Sidi Kaouki where we meet our camel driver team, which transports our luggage. Bivouac close to the beach.

Day 3: Sidi Kaouki/Tizdi: After wandering along the coast, we will discover a whole chain of settlements of the Haha-tribe. Bivouac by Tizdi.

Day 4: Tizdi /Iftane: Following a narrow path, we will walk to Elaane. After midday, we will go down towards the littoral. Bivouac near the village of fishermen, named Iftane.

Day 5: Iftane/Tafedna: We will enter the field of the argan-trees, a local botanical curiosity from which is extracted an edible oil. Bivouac by Lafedna; we find remains of old Portuguese buildings close to Assif Iguezzulen.

Day 6: Tafedna/Imar Ditsne: We will go on following roads through woods of argan-trees; it is not rare to see goats, grazing at the top of the bushes and trees. Bivouac by Imar Ditsne.

Day 7: Imassouane/Marrakech: We will move finally towards the beach of Imassouane, by the ocean, where we have lunch. After midday, transfer to Marrakech, installation in the hotel or apartment and dinner.

Price for each person:

350€, all included: Transfer and return from ant to the airport to the starting point of the randonnee, all the meals, lodging in Berber collective tent or individual tent (Canadian), rent of camels, the guide for the randonnè.
